Is there a way to adjust the throttle control? For example:

1. I have to push the throttle forward a good bit before the rpms move. Same in reverse.

2. Once it does move - it is very touchy making trolling challenging.

3. Docking the boat becomes tough as the throttle has to travel a long way between forward and reverse.

I feel like it has to be tightened up or something so that more of the throttle range is available (if that makes sense). Its sloppy. Movement could be smoother too.

Any ideas on how to adjust this?

Thanks in advance.

Check all your connections at the binnacle and at the motor while someone else is shifting, you should be able to spot any play in the cables.
