Should any oil leak out when the lower unit is dropped on a 05 200 HPDI? While changing my water pump a little bit of oil dripped out (less then .25 of an ounce) from the power head when the drive shaft was removed from the crank. I was told that there are two seals. One that is on the crank and this keeps the oil from leaking down the shaft. And the other seal is on the drive shaft and keeps water from from going up into the engine. Is it possible that there was just to much fogging oil in the crank case, the motor was not run for the season yet.

Yes, that's possible. My 225 OX66s get fogging oil leaking out of the hubs every winter after I winterize.
