Some nice weather would be great!

Motor getting serviced for the season.
Bottom needs new paint.
Cockpit needs some AWL grip.

I might spring for a new fish finder/ducer.

I guess I'm not quite ready.

But neither is mother nature.

still buried in new England single digits and snow coming we may not melt til july

this winter has been killing me!!! I am chomping at the bit to service and splash my rig and start hunting bass in Barnegat Bay!! I'm just waiting on a decent 10 day forecast. Until then she stays covered up since i don't want to detail her and then have her fill up with snow.

It shouldn't be long now

Today Wednesday 19 March 2014 in Boston it hit a high of 42-degrees  . Last year 2013 on the same day it was 32-degrees  , but in 2012 it hit a record of 74-degrees  ... arrggghhhhh!

i'm ready but we have seen few fishable days the last month.
weather man's calling for small craft warnings through the weekend.
maybe next week will pretty up enough to head offshore.

so far most of the catching around here has been bottom fish & a bluefin here & there.
