I/o diesel questions from a new guy

Hey guys I'm new to the forum so be gentle.

I'm looking at purchasing a 95 2520 sport cabin with an I/o Volvo.

I have looked all over this forum and can't find much info on them.
My main concern is the speed. I'm scared at 200hp it's going to be ragged slow.

Please advise.

My straight inboard 2520 with a 270 mercruiser went 32 MPH at WOT, cruise around 17-18. The I/O might use the horsepower a little better than the inboard but 200 HP sounds really small for that boat, but I bet it's good on fuel...
