I have a 2004 Parker 2520XL with twin Yamaha 150 engines. Yesterday I was starting the engines and one the keys would not turn on. It felt like the tumblers are going bad. I could eventually turn on the switch but I am afraid it is going to fail me to the point I cannot start the engined. Has anyone else had the same problem and what did you do to solve the problem. I assume I will have to replace the dual switch assembly and replace both set of keys. Any advice?

It's a double-sided wafer key system and lubrication is essential. WD40 will help clean it out, but then I'd put some blue synthetic waterproof grease in it, with some Breakfree CLP periodically. I bet it can be salvaged, unless it was really dry and you bent a wafer by jamming the key in it.
