I'm thinking about putting a small stand for one or two people on the roof of my 2320SC that will (a) let us spot fish lurking around the CBBT pilings, etc and (b) give my grandkids something to hold onto other than my VHF antenna when they are diving off the roof.

Question: I have a Raymarine closed array radome on the front of the roof. Will the stainless structure right behind the antenna affect the radar performance?

It shouldn't. There's lots of boat down at OC with that type of setup. Check your manuals though.

I have this set up and it does not effect the radar
