Perfect weather, lots of boats (about 3x's what you can see in the picture) and a decent bite Sunday. Turns out Saturday was the day to be out there but we still had a good time.

Yes, he wasn't wearing a pfd which we remedied the moment I realized it.

My little guys is a bit too young to take out with me solo (3 years old) but he is willing. Can't wait for him to get a bit older where I can snatch him up and go fishing ..... just the two of us.

Awesome stuff, fishing with the kids. Never underestimate the little ones. I'll never forget while jigging bucktails with squid strips (my kids hated bottom rigs, too many tangles) my 3-year old daughter said "This is a big croaker!" as she reeled in with her rod tip under water. I had to help her out as reeled in a 26" striper! She went on to achieve the Virginia Junior Angler 2 years later.
