Hi, I'm Smitty and I just bought the boat I always wanted, It's a '01 2520
Pilothouse with the 5.7 Volvo DuoProp set up. It only has 150 Hours and is in very good condition from being lift-kept in a boathouse all of these years.
Unfortunately, it's got about 125 gallons of bad gas in it and won't run. I'm starting on it tomorrow. Other than the usual filters, pump and injector cleaning and replacement, is there anything else I should look for? What do I do with the gas? Any tips and suggestions will be appreciated.
Get it running first, then a little cleanup. Can't wait. Thanks
