6lb 8oz 26" started out trolling for stripers off LBI, ended up at the Garden State south reef Sea Bass fishing & we caught this keeper fluke.
My Dads neighbor caught it, His buddy didn't show up to fish on his 2320. So I told him to come with us, on my center console. He caught it on a rusty Sea Bass rig LOL. Also caught some keeper sea bass & 20 nice blue fish, all release except 2. Me in picture.

Nice flatty!

My father's boat goes in the water on Monday in Avalon NJ. I hope to get up there and catch a few.

When they get around that size I like to refer to them as carpets or rugs instead of doormats

For the most part there isn't many fluke on the GSS or the LE till July or so.Last year the Ocean temps were in the upper 50's till the end of July. I had a decent catch of fluke a few days before the 12th which was a tournament date.
