Fishing with the pros can be a lot of fun and make you a better fisherman.

The white marlin bite out of Oregon Inlet has been off the hook for the last few weeks.
You can fish it small boat but you might try a charter to see what's going on.

We chartered out of OIFC yesterday and had a great day.
50 miles off the beach hundreds of white marlin were cutting bait balls everywhere
It was one of the most incredible things you can imagine.

At the end of it we had 10 flags flying.
Some boats had more, Some had less
We must have seen hundreds of fish.
Often it was hard to get them off the baitball & chase our baits.

Each time I fish with the pros I come away with some new things I can use on my own boat. Both captain and mate were eager to let us hook fish and show us their techniques. It really was a billfish clinic. And we got to drink beer, not worry about everything, not work our ass of all day & step off the boat at the end of the day not having to clean anything but ourselves.

If you can get a few friends and get on this bite, which won't last forever, you will not be disappointed. Worth every $$$ you spend for it.

fished again out of oifc and the bite rages on
raised 12 whites & released 7.
also caught a bunch of dolphin including a 20#gaffer.
all on circle hooks...
possibly the most difficult saltwater angling task ever.

anyway, it was slick calm & we all had a a great time.
came back home & ate mahi & steak & drank red wine
have to mate on a charter in the morning.
one day soon i hope to fish my parker
