Looking for advice on installing outriggers for a 2008 2510xld. Thinking of heading toward top mount probably Taco 280's. I am concerned that simply adding backing plates is not enough reinforcement. Anyone have first hand experience.
Thank you

If your boat has a Parker hard top, chances are it already incorporates the proper reinforcements.
If you have any question, call the factory with your HIN in hand to be certain.

I installed them on my 2310 this year. So far so good. All I used was the backing plates. There is some flex but not that bad. My top has the hollow core material and it tells you in the instructions what to do with different tops. I went out this summer and got caught coming back in with a summer storm and got bounced around pretty good and they were fine. I check the top after every trip just to be on the safe side. Good Luck! They work great by the way.
