Parker 2520 DV Pilot soft spot repair needed

My Parker floor near the gas tank inspection hole has a couple of soft spots. The area is about one foot square each. Could someone know how to repair this.

cut it out. I wonder if you would be able to cut out the area by cutting the top layer out and into the wood some. Dig out the wood that is rotted. Get some pvc foam for coring and reglass over then shoot the gel coat back. That way you wouldnt lose as much strength as cutting the whole thing out.

What Brad said would be the best method but you may be able to get a few years out of it by injecting Epoxy, depending how bad it is.
