Everyone:

I hope this post finds everyone well. I am thinking of replacing my Danforth style anchor with a Delta plow type anchor. I have a 2008 2520XL. Does anyone know if I have to change the bow roller that came with the boat or will the Delta 22lb plow anchor fit right in?

Thank You

No change necessary. The standard roller works fine with a plow.

I've actually found that the stock roller works BETTER with the plow. The Danforth seemed to get stuck, and I'd have to run up and kick it to loosen it up. The plow just drops off, I think it has to do with the angle of the shank... the Danforth's is straight, while the plows have an angled up section, then a straight section.
