I have a question for any Parker 1801, 1800 owners.
How is the console attached to the deck?
I have purchased a used Parker Sport Console and want to attach to the deck.
The console is two pieces and I would like to know how the base of the console is fastened to the deck.

Thanks,

I am pretty sure it is screwed down I could send you a pic of mile when I get into town.

He want's to know "Exactly" how the bottom half is fastened to the deck?

There are several good was to do it.

Post pix's of the console to deck flange

This is how I mounted my seat box's on my Mako. It's 1 1/2in alum angle... Cut, fitted, drilled ,sanded , primed and painted with Awlgrip.
fasteners thru alum have a stainless roof style washer .... It has a rubber seal to isolate the stainless from the alum.

It's thru bolted in the sides. This was VERY strong.

Thanks Warthog5,
Are those stainless lag screws into the deck?
I presume you drilled into the deck and coated screws with 5200?

Thanks,

They are stainless.... What you can't see is the extra work.

I install a very small piece of heat shrink where the fastner would contact the alum This keeps the dissimilar metals from touching. I also install a nylon flat washer under the stainless flat washer.
