Re-seal front hatch

My front hatch leaks, what would be good to re-seal it with? I plan on removing it, cleaning the fiberglass, cleaning the hatch frame, the re-sealing. Is 4200 too permanent? or just use silicone?

I'd use silicone or 3200 or life caulk.

When i put in a port side opening window was told to use life caulk
