Rollers for gelcoat, deck on 21SE??

What say the experts? Plan to do one coat gelcoat, then one coat gelcoat with griptex.
Many roller choices at Boaters Island. I was thinking a 4" and 9", should I go nap or foam??

I have good luck with the mohair 1/4 nap.very shed resistant roller cover.before I start I always roll the cover on some sticky tape to pick up any loose fibers.

I didn't know you could "roll on" gel coat. I assumed that once the gel coat was shot, one has to just repaint with regular paint. I'll be interested to hear how your project goes - keep us posted.

Painting is one of the things I like to do least in the entire world (actually the painting is OK, its the endless prep and cleanup I hate!). I did my own bottom paint once. That was the first and last time!

I use the foam like you posted. It's West System brand, but I bet it's the same , as they are both 7in long.

It's what I've used on a lot of jobs like non skid on my bracket. Very pleased with it....I also have used the Restolum brand Non skid....I get it at Lowes and mix it in Awlgrip.
