SKIFFS - EXPERIENCE AND OPINIONS?

LOOOONG time since I posted the skiff questions. I eventually found a used Jones Brothers Bateau 17 ft in upstate SC (ie, fresh water boat) with a 50 hp Yam 2-stroke. Perfect 2-3 person boat for fishing shallows, and for cruising around the rivah. First time out my wife caught a schoolie striper.

Nice! I did the same, but found the rare JB Cape Fisherman 1600 (17'). Just got done cleaning her up and rigging for me an my 11 year old son to hit the creeks for speckled trout this winter. Or troot as they are called in down east NC.
