Not me. Others have used a piece of teak or starboard which was cross cut
on the back
side to add additional surface area for grip then used 5200 or or other agent but 5200 is an adhesive. Screw holes were drilled oversize and filled with expoxy then drilled pilot holes.


Useful product none the less.
 
On a bracketed boat.....I hate transom mount X-Ducers.... They look ugly with cable going everwhere.

No haven't bought that..... Have built my own.
 
I used a mount from stern mate for a raymarine dragonfly which is a backup unit the stern mate has adjustable slots to move up or down to your liking.
