Time for a new panel- Questions

Well I have been wasting money buying new switches and putting them into my old panel and now I am finding that the old glass fuse holders are failing. I think it is time for a whole new panel. Does anyone have any leads for panels? Should my new panel have just the switches with fuses located else where? Should I be looking for blade type fuses or circuit breakers? I feel like I should have removed every inch of wire out of this boat when I bought it and started from scratch. I alreay pulled out about two miles of dead wire that was on the boat and didn't do anything or go anywehre.

Any help would be greatly appricated.
