tork specs

I am raising my motor 225 Yahm 4s is there a tork spec for the bolts. My motor is on a 2320 with a bracket :?:

It's not near as high as you think it should be.

It calls for 43ftlbs.

I prefer to double nut them ass opposed to a single nylon lock nut.

warthog thanks you are correct, I started by using a torque wrench set at 40# got to about 45# and the nuts came loose. I reinstalled to 45# I also was suprised at prop torque only 40#, going to double nut as you suggested.

When I raised mine, I left one hole and now wish that I had gone up all the way.

I raised mine all the way I will post results compared to previous location later. I hope to get out Sat and test.

just got mine back they only raised it one so I will see our docks go in in three weeks im usualy the first on im ready now
