Debating on fixing up my load rite or buying new. Owens at the top of the list at $4k w/ ss fittings and ss disc brakes.

Thoughts from the peanut gallery? I trailer quite a bit and want no worries when going several hours.

The Load Rite I had under my 23SE was a very nice trailer. I upgraded the original disc brakes for the Kodiak Cadnium coated disc and oil bath hubs. Monitored the condition of the hardware and kept all of the saddles lubricates. It was rated for a 5400 pound boat. Loaded and unloaded effortless no matter what ramp I used. And hardly had to get it wet.

I looked at an older post you had and your trailer didn't look bad at all. I would deffinately look at Eastern Marine up to New Castle, Delaware and price out the hardware that you need. The brakes are real easy to replace. They have everything you need and are TAX FREE. I've ordered from them and had the parts the next day.
