I was out last week looking at my trailer making a list for preventative maintenance. The last thing I expected to see, cracked and busted rollers. All 40 of them. My trailer is a 2006 Load Rite 5400 # rated trailer. I called Load Rite and they explained that there was not enough UV protectant in the yellow non marking rollers. Since the trailer is no longer under warranty, Load Rite gave me the phone number to Yates, the manufacturer of the rollers. I called them and spoke with Bob Yates. He mentioned that the newest rollers have a lot more UV Protectant. He was kind enough to sell me new rollers @ $3.00 each. So for the folks that have trailer boats, you might want to take a close look at your rollers.
