don't really so a non issue in reality. just heard about them on other parker notched transom models plus also worried about a wave over the back while anchored offshore. this has never been a problem for me and i like the response regarding the benefits of a notched transom - quick drainage if a wave comes over the bow. very happy parker owner. not fancy but solid as a bloody rock. thanks!
We anchor and bottom fish offshore all the time on a 21SE and I don't ever recall having a wave wash over the cut out. Yea I have had some sloshing but nothing that made me feel any little bit of concern. It also drained really fast
