Bought my first fiberglass boat last year, 2003 parker 21se. So like a good rookie, I used a scotch guard sponge (the type used for doing dishes) to apply some hull cleaner and yeah I used the green coarse side. It didn't seem that coarse and I went pretty lite but after it dried I saw a few spots that looked dull. Felt like an ass. I'm going to buff and wax the boat next. I have never done it before. I went out and got a makita polisher. What steps do you guys recommend to get the best results?
Thanks

Use 3M fiberglass restorer on the buffer, Colinite liquid Fleetwax on a polisher , then Collinite Fleetwax paste by hand.

It might not be updated right away, but watch my thread in the Projects section where I'll be putting a spring polish on my 2520 with a Makita.
I have some prep work to do first, but I will advise you to get extra wool pads. You're gonna need them to do it right.
