What is this switch? 2017 Parker 2520

Hello,
I just picked up my new Parker 2520, and noticed this switch behind the main console. Can someone please tell me what this does?

The switch is for the SeaStar power steering.

I don't understand what power steering has to do with Hydraulic steering? I see your helm seems to have Hydraulic?

Its an electrically propelled system that helps transfer the hydraulic fluid easier and quicker

Further down the line, there is a power steering pump. The switch allows you to turn the power steering off incase you need to conserver battery power.
