2002 Parker 2320 with single 4-stroke Yamaha F225 on bracket. Stock Lenco trim tabs.

M9 = Grey Yamaha 4-stroke 150HP – 250 HP

Y9 = Grey Yamaha 150HP+ under anti-ventilation plate

M8 = Grey Yamaha 150HP – 225HP on single engine boats larger than 23’

Id say the under cavitation plate one would be my choice just because of where it gets mounted. However, the last one is the biggest by 1 inch in lenght and 3 inches in width. So if you are very unhappy about your ride then try the biggest.

I would ask Andy

I just put one on last week

I have a 200HPDI
And they now recommending putting it on underneath
For the 2 strokes
I know you have a four stroke
But he is a authorized Yamaha dealer
And has a great attitude
Nice to talk with

I have the Cobra plates one can find on Cabelas:
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templ ... rm1&Go.x=0

They are not expensive and work well with my twin F-115s (800+ lbs of motors) on a bracketed 2510. She was a$$ heavy with the OEM tabs and I couldn't push the bow down to get a descent ride. With the addition of the (under anti-ventilation plate) Cobra plates, I can get on plane at a much lower speed, stay on plane in nasty chop at a lower speed, and get a better ride in nearly all conditions. I lost 1 mph at WOT from what I can tell...but I almost never run at WOT unless I'm testing the motors.
