went out this pass weekend and heard some whining noise from fuel pump.ran boat to about 3200 rpms ,after 15 min or so motor loses rpms and cant get pass 2500 rpms.Checked low pressure pump seems to be fine .high pressure pump making noise .on tuesday i worked on boat and tried to eliminate problem starting with fuel lines and anti salphiline valve on tank.Found a peace of rubber stuck on vave cleaned it and put it back together .Took boat out and same problem occured after 15 mins or so boat would run fine at high rpms and bog down like running out of gas.Ichecked pumps with pressure gauge low pressure is fine but high pressure fluctuates around 28 to 30 pi.Just recently had some sea foam added to tank to clean engine and star tron was in tank before hand.It sounds that high pressure might be going bad,just trying to eliminate problem before spending money on whole kit which is about 659.00 for both pumps. I have a 2520 with a volvo penta gi 454 .year 2000.THANKS FOR ANY INFO ....GAME ON....
