    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

This project was so sooo difficult for us. Granted it is just my husband and I, both being old and slow. Last year I posted how we tried just one section, to see if we had what it takes to accomplish this. https://www.classicparker.com/threads/help-cabin-carpet-removal.19808/post-156231 At...

Parts For Sale ORIGINAL PARKER BOAT SEAT OUT OF MY 2320 PILOTHOUSE 35.00

Sorry I've been busy. On top of my projects, April was weird for SE Florida. Not hurricane season yet but we had quite a flood out of nowhere. To your question, we found the base plate with the spring at a nautical flea market. Not sure if the seats for sale that look very similar (at least...

Parts For Sale ORIGINAL PARKER BOAT SEAT OUT OF MY 2320 PILOTHOUSE 35.00

I am but I'm not a cushion maker by any means. Husband and I have several projects on the table right now. The cabin is the priority, we finally removed all the carpet and are slowly grinding out the glue, the section we did wasn't bad but the surface could've been smoother. So we keep...

That's very nice. This chair is having such a great 2nd life. I haven't started redoing the cushions but the molded plastic was soaked for weeks and is now looking like almost new. I will post photos tomorrow and hopefully soon will do the cushions.

    Saturday outing

Not sure if this is the proper place for this post. Today we went out with friends visiting from up north. Not divers so just an outting to the mooring balls. We tied up and got in the water with some floaties. Few hours if laziness and a bite to eat and drink. Nothing to write a report about...

Getting ready to sell my 2320SC - What should I ask?

It looks beautiful! Sorry I'm no help about the going rate but for sure you'd be on the top of the price range. My post is for you to point out the window frames. I'm guessing they are in good shape, if that's the case it would be worth calling attention to them. It isn't rare to see different...

    Inexpensive, DIY ideas

I'm very thankful too. When I met my current husband in 1999, not the 1st but maybe the 2nd thing he told me was that one day he'll buy a Parker with a cabin. He never did, for our 5th wedding anniversary I got him one. Never thought i would care for boats, but I'm finding out Parker people...

Parts For Sale ORIGINAL PARKER BOAT SEAT OUT OF MY 2320 PILOTHOUSE 35.00

The metal base attached to the molded plastic that hooks to the pole? I do not. However you may want to zoom in the photo, the springy metal part, doesn't spring. My husband mentioned that happened to ours some years ago and he found another base that worked well I will use the cushions and...

Parts For Sale ORIGINAL PARKER BOAT SEAT OUT OF MY 2320 PILOTHOUSE 35.00

Today I got a new (old) seat that I will use for practice cushion making. The molded plastic is in perfect shape, so are the snaps. Thanks, it was in better shape than I expected for being 20 years old.

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

We diluted the primer and the paint adding between 7 and 9% of the Interlux 333. Did 4 coats of primer with sanding in between. For the paint we ended up applying 6 coats also with sanding in between. Just call it a day for the rest of the carpet removal. We didn't get to the headliner, but...

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

What a coincidence there's updates on this thread. After studying it along with a few other threads with the "carpet issue" last year my husband and i decided to give it a try on ours. Knowing that at our age we just can't attack projects the way we did in our 30-40's, and the lack of...

Salt water corrosion on window frames

Curios to read any response you may get, my issue is only inside the cabin, the frames are very good on the outside. The first 3 years of the boat's life we had it in a marina and would be closed during the week, sometimes several weeks. Somehow we didn't notice until it was too late.

    v-berth cushions

I was quoted a similar amount to redo my existing cushions. I realize people work to make money and things are more expensive everyday, but those cushions are not that complicated to make. Decided to do it myself, after pricing the materials even if i have to redo a few for the learning curve...

Anyone familiar with these Parker bolster helm chairs?

Sure would be nice to find a source for this chair. The one I have from 2006 was holding great, but suddenly a couple of years ago started to look old and by now is just sad. I got a quote from a local boat upholstery to redo the cushions for $700, I figured that was their way to say " I don't...
