Antidote, In an earlier post on this thread you mentioned that you kept an engine cover over your coweling to keep water from entering. Do you think that may have prevented air circulation and contributed to the corrosion in our extreme humid environment?

The bottom mounted permatrim is one of the best additions I have installed on my 2015 2120sc Parker with 200hp 4s Yamaha. The best benefit is that it allows the boat to stay up on plane at much slower speed, 22mph vs 27mph. This really helps in a rough tight chop sea condition.

I totally agree with your opinion on the Autopilot as I cannot imagine boating without one!

The 2120 is a heavy 21ft. boat, without any doubt go with the 200hp as there is now no weight penalty! You should be able to negotiate that $5K upgrade down considerably.

Beware, running with trim tabs down in a following sea can cause a broach, that can result in a very undesirable and dangerous situation! Also much safer to run with autopilot turned off in heavy following seas for same reason.
