I have a 2000 21se for sale with a 2014 Yamaha 200 hp 4 stroke for sale. About 800 hours on the engine. Trailer has no paperwork. $32000

Any wisdom on reducing the pounding?

If it hurts - slow down. Parker’s are tough but not comfortable unless you take your time. The slower you go the less effect the tabs will have. Like a few have mentioned in the past you can try creative ways of shifting weight forward by moving batteries and mounting coolers in the bow.

yamaha 115hp 2 stroke spring surprise

Good luck! My engine runs fine in the water, so I'm feeling relived. I hope your problems are resolved soon. At least you know your problem and your solution. Not knowing those two things can make for a frustrating time!

yamaha 115hp 2 stroke spring surprise

How about this for an answer. It's normal for the engine to miss when in neutral and above 2000 rpm for a few minutes, due to a lack of a load on the engine. I'm not a mechanic but engine timing is apparently different when in neutral as opposed to under a load (in gear). I will test her on...

yamaha 115hp 2 stroke spring surprise

Just a maintenance amt of ring free, not an overly strong concentration. I'll try the carb cleaner, and hopefully that will clear it up. I'll let you know if that does the trick. Thanks.

yamaha 115hp 2 stroke spring surprise

9th season with my engine. First problem. Started her up yesterday and she started and idled fine. As I increase RPM above the 2000 rpm range she misses. I changed plugs, water seperator filter, and have fresh fuel and yamalube in the tanks. I cant tell yet if it's one cylander missing every...

    1801 baitwell suggestions

Thanks for the information. When the weather clears here in the north east I'll get a chance to begin my preps for next season. I can't quite make out the name of the manufacturer of the live well on Matrix's boat. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks!

    1801 baitwell suggestions

Just what I'm looking for. I like the idea of fitting one under my leaning post. If gas wasn't selling for the price of gold I'd actually consider the trip!

    1801 baitwell suggestions

I am looking for ideas for next season. I want to add an aftermarket baitwell to my 2001 1801. If anyone has a photo or a suggestion of something they've done it would be appreciated. If anyone knows the name of the manufacturer of the stock baitwells I'd be interested in that information as...

Need help from the Maryland boys!!!

Thank goodness we don't have to go through that here in NY! But I imagine it's only a matter of time. $40 to catch fish almost seems insane. What by the way do you get for that $40.00 ?
