it‘s time to add a trolling motor but I’m more than a little lost in the trolling motor jungle. I’m running a 2000 21SE with a yami 150hp.
I’ve been directed to a 50 lb thrust motor. Seems way under powered to spot lock in a 4 knot or more current. Lookin for advice on a motor incl brand...
Sorry for the delay in answering but I've been out of country doing what I enjoy doing!
Anyhow, I really don't have a good answer for you. When the deck was replaced I was away and don't have the info you asked for. For what it's worth I can tell you the replaced deck is rock solid!
While the boat is kept in a dry slip I get it and much appreciate your input and will keep the valve closed when not in use. Just have to remember to open it before turning on the Livewell or I'll end up with a burned out pump. Thanks
While I did not need to have the seacock replaced nor was it and it's kept in a dry slip I much appreciate your input and will keep the valve closed when not in use. Just have to remember to open it before turning on the Livewell or I'll end up with a burned out pump. Thanks
Had some work done on my Parker and took her out to run thru the work done. I found that while the pump for the livewell turned on the livewell was not getting water. When I checked the seacock it was closed. No big deal, opened it and it worked fine. Asked the mechanic why the seacock had been...
I want to do some desktop programming on a couple of Lowrance Carbon units. I can get the power only cable for the machines but need some input on what the best small footprint battery may be. I have considered an AGM 12v 7amp battery measuring 4x4x6 but don’t know if that will fill the bill...
Thanks a ton Tunagi! I actually never read the label before it was gone and was surprised to see max HP at 235! Guess I had more important stuff to do and never got around to reading it until it was gone. lol Thanks again!
I agree that removing the labels is a cleaner look and my plan is to leave it that way except for the Capacities label which the CG apparently requires but never seems to check for. I have had no luck with any of the label makers willing to research the boat for info to make the necessary label...
Hope you find it not so bad.
I would like to ask you for a favor if I could. I'm having a hard time finding someone with a 2000 21se without any luck when your feed popped up with a 2001. I have a 2000 21se and have just had a bunch of work done including a gel coat respray. Unfortunately they...
Thanks for the info and sites. I have all of them bookmarked. Unfortunately I have so far been unable to locate the correct info to put on the label. The one you included with your post is for a different year and model. The label I had was for 10 person occupancy but the rest was illegible. To...
I agree and I'm not looking to replace all the Warning/Safety labels for the reason you state but you might want to look further regarding the Capacity Label and CG requirements. CG likes them but others have said not to worry about the CG. I worry.
