I use Birdsall fly rod holders (pic below) that go right into my rocket launchers. You can put any size rod in them. I put 9 and 10 wt rods in them. They are super durable, only downside is they damaged the cork handle on the rod slightly. I think i paid $39.00 for them.

I have a 2012 2501 with twin 150s. Its an somewhat efficient set up that works in most NE conditions just fine. I run the boat at 3800-4000 RPMs. At 3800 the boat runs at around 21-23 (depending on load) MPH burning 11-12 GPH. At 4000 RPM 25-27 MPH burning 14 GPH. I ussually don't run the boat...

I've received quotes from $3,800-$16k to have this top built. I found these guys in VA (Moubray & Co). They build tops for Dare marine (Parker dealer in VA). They are building the top in the picture for $5k.
