Thanks for the post. I re powered my 2003 23SE at the beginning of the summer with the Yamaha 4.6L 300. I also feel the same.. what a difference! The hull just plows through anything compared to the older HPDI 200.

Always consider it on a boat over 10 years old. I have a 2008 23SE and replaced mine last year. I’ll post pics later. Look for foam particles in the bilge, residue and obviously signs of gas/smell.
