2018 Parker 23SE instrument panel detached from dash due to failure of the epoxy on the screws. I have all of them off now and am ready to reattach. Plan is to use JB Weld for strength but would like anyone elses opinion that has had to deal with this. Epoxy also failed on front hatch support.
I have had excellent communication and service from Starling as well. I purchased a new Ameritrail trailer from them for my prior Parker and stop in to purchase parts for my current Parker. David Starling helped me during 2020 via email to transfer the hull warranty.
23 SE that I have added the Minn Kota Ultera 112 with 72. Rewired the nav light due to it was not sealed and leaked water into hardtop and ruined the speaker wires which I also redid.
My 2018 Parker 23SE has a factory leaning post and t-top. The plastic inserts are falling apart due to sun exposure. I cannot find correct replacements that fit at my dealer or other dealers. I found the rubber hose material I like better but still too big. I need around 1-7/8 OD. Anyone else...
Sorry I am late to this but I used an electrical fish tape. It worked like a champ and it is what my friends in the industry use for trolling motor installs.
Interlux makes a two part filler that works great filling screw holes or around the wood plugs. It is just that a filler. Once it is hard you can sand and then top coat it with gel coat. I usually tape under the bottom and use a puddy knife to push in the filler. I have not had any problems with...
I have a 2018 23SE so I do not have the forward seating in front of the console but I agree the more forward you can get weight the better. Make sure your batteries can breath while charging.
I just finished the install in my 23SE. I ran my wire from the console to the stern and then to the bow like the nav lights were run. I added the shutoff so I could disconnect the motor while charging.
