I would say that if you mounted it on the transom, and fabricated a quick stainless cable to retain it if it fell off (similar to on an anchor pulpit) you would have a nice, easy setup.

Hi all, I have a 2001 2520 with a 5.7 and bravo 3. When it comes time to repower I have been considering going to a Bravo 1. From what I hear, they are more durable, suffer from less corrosion and might give a better cruise speed?? any thoughts?

I filled my drain with marinetex and used a stainless clamshell to drain over board. Just make sure you put the drain at the very bottom so water does not sit in there.
