I need to move my VHF from the center console to a T-top electronics box. Any suggestions on how I can fill the cutout that will be left behind? I already have a quart of Parker gelcoat for minor repairs. Will I need to do glasswork inside the console to support the gelcoat? What options do I have?

Jim, the sensor has been malfunbctioning since I bought the boat in March this year. Don't know how long before that. Previous owner never mentioned the problem and told me I had 3/4 tank of gas :? Guess how I found out it was malfuntioning.
