Thanks for the suggestion. I am posting this to help a fellow Parker owner that does not use a computer. He called Diamond Sea Glaze, said they were very nice to deal with but it was not their product.
Don’t have a pic. It is the small forward corner opening window on both port & starboard sides of the windshield assembly. It pushes out when opened, much like the old car windows. Hope this helps.
Looking for portside wing window which is part of the windshield or any information on who made the windshield. Any help would be much appreciated. Existing wing window disappeared, most likely went overboard.
We have a 2520 and it looks a little different. I chose to be a little higher than the bow area that steps out on the exterior. The step out is the what pushes the water away from the boat so being above that means less water trying to get in from the outside. I measured back to about 1” from...
Installed 2 Seaspension pedestals in our 2520 pilot house. It is an all around game changer, worth the investment. Don’t get me wrong there are days you wish you were not out there but at least it is doable if you need to. The Seaspension Company was very good to deal with.
The slam hatches on my 2006 2520 were made by Innovative Solutions. Don’t think they are in business anymore. The cockpit floor slam hatch was aged and leaking so I moved the cockpit hatch to the v-Berth and moved the v-Berth like new Innovative Solutions slam hatch to the cockpit. The...
Glassed in a piece of Nida-core composite. Suggest staying away from Starboard for this purpose. There is a small gap under the
false floor that was glassed in. This allowed for drain hole positioning and working space while doing the job. Drilled hole first then glassed the floor to the hole...
Sorry, I previously posted without writing anything by accident….
Unfortunately I did not take photos of the job of glassing in the anchor locker as I did it. Below are 3 pics of what it looks like now. The ss clam shell vent covers the 1/2 hole drilled thru the side of the hull into the anchor...
Drilled a drain hole thru the side of the hull and glassed in a false bottom in the anchor locker. No more needless water into the forward bilge from the anchor locker. Then found my slam hatch in the cockpit was not sealing well. Replaced gasket with another manufacturers gasket. New gasket...
On my 2520 I drilled a 1/2” drain hole in the hull covered by an aft facing small stainless clamshell vent on the outside. Glassed a shelf in the anchor locker that was angled towards the 1/2 drain hole. Dry bilge after all these years. Drilled the hole last spring finally got around to...
Seaspention asked me the average weight of the the persons sitting in each seat so the preload could be set before shipping out. It is something they claimed could only be done by them. Never researched exactly what if anything they do. What I can say they are spot on and a game changer. No...
