    It’s actually a 90 Suzuki with a little over 300 hours. WOT gives me about 34 but I usually run at 4100RPM and get 22 by myself which is plenty fast for me. And it sips gas that speed.

    Anybody soda blast an 18 footer and redo the bottom and what was the recess and outcome along with the cost? Have a 1987 and bottom really needs it. thanks!

    Would using 4200 or 5200 be acceptable for filling small screw holes? I’ll be changing my transducer soon and have to fill the old ones. Thanks

    Non Skid Painting???

    I’ve used Interlux Interdeck NonSkid poly with great success in my 1801. No additive just stir and apply. 1 qt was just enough to do the whole deck

    I agree, have a 1987 for ten years. Put a new 90 Suzuki on it three years ago. Tops out at 34 with two on board, plenty for what I use it for.

    1801 trim tabs help!

    IMO you don’t need them on an 1801. I had a whale tail for a few years, took it off and installed the automatic trim tabs. Saw no difference, especially with balance which is where I needed it. Took them off after a few years when I repowered with a Suzuki 90. Now I constantly adjust pitch for...
