    Why Doesn't Parker..

While staying off topic, I have grown up on open fishermen in South Florida. Crossing to the bahamas and fishing is nice on an open boat, but when a storm rolls in and or its time to rest theres nothing like a shower and A/C..

Splash 2009 --- OMG What a list of deferred maintenance!!!!

If you ever get around to selling that boat I would be interested. And on another note, you have made me feel like sh!t for all the maintenance I never do. I bet its a nice boat..

To kicker or to get a bigger Parker

Of all the stupid things that can be done with a Parker, I have yet to fill it with water while being cautious. Catching bait with a cast net off the beach going thru breakers (lots younger then and probably used the girlfrinds gas card for fuel) it had pitched and filled a few times but it...

To kicker or to get a bigger Parker

Make a few trips to the islands first. Your boat will not have any problems. But then again don’t forget about the regulations over there, their Gov has been cracking down again and its not worth the trip (however you being in the coastguard has it benefits, I'll go with you!! LOL). I fish out...

3 Missing in Tampa Bay Boating accident

I read an article in the Miami Herald today about what happened out there, what a shame. If you have grown up on the water and been out there as a kid (I was 12 when dad gave me a boat) you most likely have made a mistake similar to this, I sure have. From what the Miami Herald said the captain...

is this a classic parker member?

I would not consider this guy nuts at all like most people did. I have the same boat, a 21SE. I have made the crossing to the Bahamas 100s of times, 60 miles. A Parker is like a tank, bathtub or whatever you want to call it. Anyone here ever been in a major storm in a 21 Parker? Ever had the...

    Cockpit Floodlights

It seems that most of my fishing is for snapper at night lately. I use two 24 inch florescent lights. One in the front of the T-top and one in the back. I find that they do not blind you and use little juice. To put one in the middle above your door and then maybe some small LED's under the...

My 1989 Parker 21SE is starting to rot

Just today I attempted to change the old floor hatch and noticed that the wood was rotted. When I removed the screws I could tell it wasn’t going to be a pretty sight. So after I started to look inside and noticed that the deck is starting to pop up from the stringers and where the washout is...

    fuel/mile range for a 2120sc

I have a 21SE with a carbed 04 150, I judge it at 2 miles to the gallon. Now that all depends on the weather and how much weight you put on board... Want to feen good about your trip put 30 gallons of fuel on the deck...

    150 yamaha which is best

I have a 2004 2 stroke regular carb 150 on my 21SE with 1450 hours. It gets great millage (2.3 gallons to the mile) but the reason I went for this motor is because there are times in the islands that I end up with bad gas. It seems that the older carb motors just stutter a little but I can still...

    Which trailer for 21 SE?

I have a 23T trailer from Rocket in miami, FL. It the best trailer i have had, no problems. It was a little costly, but has paid off in the long run. It's the 4th trailer that Ive had and its been real good to me.
