Check out my post (Rehabbing my 1988 Pilothouse). I just posted some pictures of how I mounted my Taco Grandslam outrigger bases on my roof. They came out and very solid.
No handles inside to bang your head on and totally out of your way if you have to go up to the bow. And not crazy...
Installing the Taco Grand slam roof mount outrigger bases was kind of tedious, I had to make 2-18”x18” x1/2”’ plates out of Srarboard for each outrigger and drill them for the stainless steel bolts to sandwich the existing roof to spread out the load. I glued the plates inside and outside with...
