    2510 on davits?

Canal width prevents me from using cradle or elevator lift. Davits seem to be the only practical solution to raise my boat. Has anyone seen or installed lifting lugs or supports on a larger Parker? Have seen some done w/ threaded rod from bow eye up vertically to a deck mounted lug or cleat...

    Cure For Roller Trailers ?

uh......one more note. Longer tounges on trailer work great until a ramp with a crest or any hump. The longer the wheelbase, the easier it is to grind undercarriage of trailer. I once winched onto bunk tailer, got in truck and could not budge it in either direction, could not power boat back...

    Cure For Roller Trailers ?

All of the aforementioned points are great and i'm not tryin' to kill the "roller" buzz, and I don't think it would ever be an issue w/ a Parker, but......I have seen cases of transom sag w/ and hull indentation with roller trailers. I'd make sure as many rollers as possible lined up under...

    Raised outboard

Pamlico Sound-drum,tarpon,trout,etc.Offshore mostly out of Ocracoke Inlet. Dolphin bite is hot now if you can get out. I've only had minor problems w/ cavitation @ lowest setting, but it has come in the nastiest of conditions. I'd hate to go higher, everything's great, then one day get caught...

    Raised outboard

No doubt trimming up decreases burn, as does raising the engine. I also more than understand how to trim the boat and where the tabs need to be. With the 25'mv w/ a bracket, in the waters where I operate, the lowest setting keeps her hooked-up in most all conditions. A higher setting would...

    Raised outboard

2004 2510 mvwa. My f225 is factory mounted in the lowest setting. Having gotten a good # hours in pretty heavy seas I think it is right where it needs to be. Even @ lowest setting and trimmed in pretty good you can still ventilate prop in big trailing sea w/ tight interval (like some of our...

    Cobra stabilizer-

I have had good luck w/ a stingray stabilizer on my 18' C-hawk, so after alot of thought I decided to add a fin to my 25 mvwa w/ f225 on a bracket. Studied all the current manufacturers and opted for an aluminum cobra plate vs. stainless model or permatrim. I liked the idea of it mounting...

    carolina's raftup?

Seems odd we guys so close to the birthplace of our beloved Parkers, have not hosted a raft-up. Now this could be the mother of all raft-ups. You Chesapeake guys could convoy down the Bay And ICW to Beaufort N.C. Maybe raft up out @ Cape Lookout, call Parker, have a photo shoot in front...

    2510 mvwa deadrise?

Curious what year the deadrise went from 14 to 16 degrees? 2004 25' mvwa shows 14degree deadrise and 12" draft on the spec sheet.

    2510 mvwa

Just got in from maiden voyage on newest edition to our fleet. Just purchased today from this forum. I feel like one lucky S.O.B. I wasn't seriously in the market, but this one was too much to pass up on. This boat is everything that was adverstised and then some. Hard to believe this...
