6ft seas coming in pitch black yesterday and took a beating.

How do you get soaking wet inside a pilot house?

I know they are lighter but look at the performance data for a 2520 with twin 150's and single 300 vs the Hewes with the same engine combo's. They are very similar, so one would think the 425 would perform very weill in the 2520 https://www.westcoastmarine.com/parker-boats-performance-info

I know its not a Parker and its lighter but these performance results with the 425 are quite impressive. I wonder how it would perform on a 2520? https://hewescraft.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Alaskan-Performance-Bulletins.pdf

I dont think Yamaha makes the 350 anymore. On their website they have the 300 and then the 425

I find it funny all the guys here worried about a tiny little 2 horsepower generator on the very back of the boat next to the 1, 2, 4, 6 engines that are running all day long. SMH

Very true. I'm one of those guys that dont go out unless the weather is nice. I always check the weather and have a game plan if it gets crappy. Always tell someone my route and how long I plan to be out, have Epirb, extra hand held radio, boat us towing, etc. If you go far, its always best to...

You can have all the ABYC stuff on your boat but if you dont take care of it and use common sense, it does you no good. 99.9 % of deaths come from drunk retards and people with no brains. I was fishing inside the harbor one day with my Dad and son and we were about 20 yards away from the main...

25 died because the crew fell asleep and I believe a lack of safety devices and up to date equipment.

Didnt know people here have such thin skin, geez. I thought I was really being nice when I said ladies instead of what I really wanted to say. At the end of the day I can do whatever I want and you can do whatever you want. So far the guy from Out on the reef has had no issues. Besides Parkers...

What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

And not all fiberglass built boats are built correctly either- delamination issues have and has happened. I have never heard of any Parkers with problems. In fact you're the first one.

First off even if that happened the fumes would be so diluted by the time it entered your cabin it would be harmless. We are talking about a couple horsepower tiny little engine in the open air. How much fumes do you think are going to get inside your cabin? You aren't parked inside your garage...

What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

The reason they are changing to glass stringers is because everyone was bitching about having wood in their boats. I don't get why, the wood is totally encased in fiberglass. There is no way for them to rot unless some idiot drills a bunch of holes to install something and doent seal it correctly.

How do you think they install generators on larger boats? The exhaust has to exit somewhere. If you watch the video I posted the generator is all the way on the back of the boat, when you anchor the wind is almost always from bow to stern so any exhaust will go away from the cabin. Not only that...
