Tried a friends Saltwater Series 15 1/4 X 17 SS and really loved the way it handles my 2120. Went to check out prices on the web and I see a Saltwater Series and a Saltwater Series 2. They seem to have the same specs and benefits. Anyone know what the difference is? Thanks. Steve

I have a 2005 2120 w/ F200 4-stroke and only get 38 MPH at 6000 RPMs with 300 lbs of passengers and 1/2 tank of fuel. I'm going to check the prop, but I believe it is a 15 x 17 as well. The bottom is painted, but I can't believe it would reduce the speed that much.

I'm not at all suprised the ASV was clogged - that's what happended to me. You can pick one up at West Marine. Make sure it is a Moeller!!! Itguy

Mildew2, Great! I was hoping that was the case. I wanted to try out one of those cup holders that is designed to fit in the rod holder. It has a slot cut into it for the "wire" to fit into. Hopefully the "post" you refer to will fit in the slot as well. Thanks. Itguy

Do you think leaving the small port hole covers open would provide enough ventilation? You could then leave the door and main windows locked. Obviously you would need to make sure the curtain is pulled back. I have a 2120 SC, so it may work for that model, but not be good enough for larger...
