Just went thur this same dilemna......I just ordered my new 07 23 Parker 23SE with 225 Yamaha 4 stroke...after talkng to a few dealers the 150 is just a "price point" to keep cost down...if you are a fair weather fisherman who only fishes bay waters (On good days) than i think you would be fine...

Wasn't sure what to expect today....when I left home they were calling for a small craft advisory....who cares...so I met up with john henry on my Parker and headed to the midbay area...wasn't sure exactly which area I wanted to work but had an idea..... Water temp was 52.6*...very foggy...flat...

Haven't sold the boat yet.....still catching Bigguns on it though....... :D

Actually I'm not sure yet....either a 23SE w a T-top or maybe a Sailfish 236........stil looking.....
