Is the 200 as bad as the 225 as far as the corrosion situation is concerned? Seems as though every thread I read of this problem the owner has a 225? My 21SE has a very low hour 2004 F200 so I guess I will be using a borescope when I pull the lower off for a water pump this spring.

I would feel the same way, however Contender, Bluewater and others drain the fish boxes stright into the bilge also, I think the idea is better to do this then deal with constatnt replacement of the macerator pumps.

I sold my18 and replaced it with a 21SE this winter and the difference is night and day, I owned the 18 for 6 years and really liked the boat but the 21 with an F200 is sooooo much nicer.

Good luck with your new ride. I recently sold my 1800 and purchased a 21SE with an F200, the difference is unbelievible, just 3 trips so far but I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine.

I don't see why you would consider a power winch for this combo. I had that same boat/motor setup with a 40gal livewell and usually a load of ice and stripers and it would crank right onto the trailer with a 2300# manual winch.

I wish I was closer to NC, I'ld be all over this.
