What oil do you use? Owners manuel just says 4 stroke motor oil. Do you use Yamaha products or does it matter. What weight? Grease, Motor oil, lower unit oil. Oh ya, filters too. Fuel and oil.

Mine stopped working the other day when I ran through kelp bed. When I reached clear water I shut r down and restarted. Quick blast in reverse and then was on my way with speedometer again. Doesn't take much to clog the pitot tube. Doesn't take much to unclog it.

What exactly is a commercial hull? Still making them??

Will be putting bottom paint on my Parker 2320 SL. Fiberglass hull and aluminum bracket. Do I need two different types of bottom paint?

Well,,He sold it last week to a guy in San Diego. Some one on this site or bloody decks. $15k. Sea trial with mechanic. Two new batteries and fired right up. Mechanic checked hours on motor once batteries were hooked up,get this,,,,,,,,,4.5 hrs. What a deal. :shock:

Unless you use a selfpriming pump, it has to be below the water line. Distance isn't the main problem, it's hight above the waterline, but even a selfpriming pump will suffer. I'd find someplace in the back.

I called Parker dealer in Costa Mesa, Ca., "West Coast Marine" and they ordered it for me. Got it in 5 days from Grand Rapids,Mi. (Factory) Product can not be shipped by air. Ground only. Payed 35 bucks for a quart. Haven't checked the shipping cost on my credit care yet but around 25 bucks...

While underway on a straight course I find that I must correct my steering to the port every so often. No leaks, no air in line. 2008 2320 SL w/Yam 250 on bracket. Operation is smooth but must steer to port like pressure is leaking off. Probably make one or two full turns of the wheel...

Did someone say turn engine to port when stored? I had a puddle of oil on the swim step the other day also. Had engine up and straight.

I'd like that font, too. Can't find it.
