Anyone haul gasoline to their boat?

Thank you for making me feel normal!! I also bring fuel to my boat using 4 5gal tanks. Its a pain in the ass but considering the price of fuel at the dock, I'll gladly save the $$$ and spend it on lures. In annapolis (yesterday) gas at the dock was 4.14 and fuel at the gas station on the way...

    Fuel consumption question

thanks for the advice. Very helpful. I do have trim tabs but they are the standard 12x12. upgrading to the 24X9 are on the list of things I'd like to upgrade as well as add a fuel meter. I absolutely love my boat. Its an outstanding machine.

    Fuel consumption question

Thank you for the reply. I think I'm going to try it. Regarding the load. two anglers, light tackle gear, cooler with drinks and a full tank of fuel. Aside from the gas, Id say light load.

    Fuel consumption question

I'd like to run my boat 50nm to a section of the lower chesapeake that is producing some really nice fish. How much fuel would you estimate that I'd burn each way? Parker 2520 Yamaha F225 running at 4400-4500 RPM & 25MPH Assume 2 foot seas - choppy conditions... I'm guessing between...

Chesapeake live line fishing is hot, hot, hot...

TPL = Thomas Point Lighthouse. Its the red and white light house located in between the South and Severn River. We're doing pretty well fishing top water plugs and soft plastics in Eastern Bay and behind Poplar Island. The bite seems to turn on around 7pm regardless of weather and current...

Chesapeake live line fishing is hot, hot, hot...

Mid Bay Parker owners - I'm seeing a very steady bite drifting spot on the 20-40 foot drop off outside TPL. Many of the fish are in the 30's with just a few 20 inch fish mixed in. The bigger spot seem to get hit much faster than the smaller ones. No bluefish encounters yet which is great...

    It was a good day.

Nice hardhead. Looks like summer is finally here! I've been seeing some great action on jumbo perch and spot around TPL. You cant get the spot to the boat without them getting ripped off the hook by the bass. Also hearing some reports that guys are catching flounder around the crab pots...

    Hacketts bar

Hey Mike - thanks for the heads up on Hacketts. What were you trolling? I've heard that some of the charters are leaving the broomsticks at home and trolling spreads of spoons and storms. I loaded my Parker up on perch around TPL on sunday but no spot.. Soon.. Mark

    Chesapeake Trophy Season Pics

those Parkers sure produce fish! We've been catching them in 30-40 feet of water between the South and West R. EVERYTHING we have caught has taken white parachutes. Tons of fish in that location, my fish finder has been going nuts.
