Anyone know how fine the clear bowl filters to? Also the vst and metal filter?… are they 10 or 2 micron?

    Fuel lines

I have not checked that yet. I plan on pulling the pickup hose tomorrow or this weekend in order to put a hose from the bottom of the tank through a water separator and inline fuel filters and electric fuel pump to try to clean out the fuel tank and recycle it back into the filler neck. I got a...

    Fuel lines

I haven’t thought of it possibly being additives binding water, I can’t seem to find a Yamaha 2 micron racor filter. Do you run a different brand?

Reading some other things the white powder could be an e10 problem and clog the filters. Maybe add a second racor after the 10 micron to a 2 micron. Figure it will be cheaper to keep replacing the racor filters than all the overly expensive Yamaha filters throughout the engine. Would any fuel...

    Fuel lines

A bit overdue, but update on this. All fuel lines were replaced, cleaned out the vst, new racor filter. Ran great a few trips, last night was on the way out to fish. Started right up, idled through the marina, low speed throttle response was torquey and smooth. Left the marina smooth up to...

    Fuel lines

Other info… primer bulb does not remain hard while running, after a stall is soft… vst pump went bad after nearly filling tank with 89 a week ago from nearly an empty tank…. No symptoms running almost 200 miles a couple weeks ago, now nothing is right and all is wrong. Thanks for any input

    Fuel lines

I have a 2001 2320 fairly new to me with an hpdi 200. Since I’ve got the boat it has ran well, I’ve replaced all filters. Today I was running it and the boat was surging and stalling like hell… my vst electric fuel pump died so I replaced it. The boat ran great for an hour or so trolled for...

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

Disappeared due to work nonsense. Thank you for all the info I’m pumped to get it going. Got out today finally the hpdi isn’t being happy, fuel issues. Not sure whether fuel lines or what as of now. I’ll be posting another thread about that

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

That bow mounted rod holder is pretty sweet, I also want to know if you had it made or is there a company that produces them.

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

The way I see it more difficulty will bring more proficiency in the long run and I’m just getting going.

Stupid sentence. I am looking for the advise to make it so.

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

Well not the most reassuring post there, I feel like it’s entirely doable with enough good attitude from the crew which I believe I’ll have. Small crew of 3-4 lots of bad words and gusto. I’ve been mainly thinking bait but not opposed to dropping jigs etc on marked fish. I’m going to make it...

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

My plan is to fight them midway up the starboard gunnel. I think that would make it easier to watch the rod and maneuver the boat during the fight. With the pilot house I don’t think there would be an easy way to fight them from the bow. I do plan on plumbing in a removable bait tank. Haven’t...

2320 set up for bluefin tuna

i have an 01 2320 no bracket I’m going to set up for fishing bluefin tuna mostly stellwagon, cape cod bay and occasionally south of Martha’s vineyard. I’m trying to see what others have done with their boats such as rod holder placements and size for 0 degree rod holders, and the best ways of...
