Dealer painted my Armstrong bracket with regular bottom paint when I bought my Parker new. When I hauled the boat in the fall it already showed signs of electrolosis damage. I sanded it down to bare metal and applied the primer and Trilux coating as recomended by Interlux. Thats the only way to go.

Anybody here have a chance to seatrial a 34 Parker , or better yet own one. Thinking about trading n my 2820 on a 34, but if rides as hard in a headsea as the 28 it wouldnot work for canyon trips.

Put the Perko cap on last year. Works fine IF you keep it lubed up. The keyhole cover seems watertite.

When mine went bad I took it to a auto parts store and they matched it up from one from a Jeep Wrangler, perfect fit.

That space is a great place for a shorepower plug if you install one. Out of the way and the weather. I installed mine there on my 28' by removing the board,cutting a hole in it for the plug and then running the wires under the gunnel to the battery compartment where my charger is located.

Watching the Deadliest Catch tonight. One of the big crab boats broke a prop and they had to change it underwater. The diver used a chain puller but it didnt budge. They ended up using a small dynamite charge which freed it. Wouldnt recomend that for your outboard.

Since that pic was taken we added another set of rocket launchers on the cabin top.Cant fold the tower down without taking them off. I dont think it clears the cabin top anyway,but Im not sure. As far as price goes we negotiated for the boat equipped so I dont have a breakdown of each option.

It is the factory tower,but if I had it to do over I would have gotten the cock pit controls, much better for docking and close quarters manuvering. The leaning post is mounted on the livewell.

I think you have enough room to put them on both sides, which will give you more surface.
