FF had some good info on his Good News thread.... but I want to start a new one, so that someone who searches CP for Trailer and 21SE will hopefully return this thread too?

Anyways...

I figure my Parker 21SE weighs about #4,000 lbs with a Yamaha F150, some gear and fuel. Good estimate?

I want a trailer for very light duty trailering (just a handful of times each year, and only for a few miles each way) and winter storage. I am thinking it should be a bunk. 2 aluminum options:

Loadmaster 5200GVWR single should handle 4500lbs?
Loadmaster 6000GVWR tandem should handle 5100lbs?

About $3700 delivered for the former, and $4400ish for the latter. Seems rich for trailers, but I am real out of the loop.

1) prices inline?
2) which would you go for?

Having trailered our 21SE's at work, I would not put that boat on a single axle trailer even for short hauls.
That's just me though.

I just got a quote for an aluminum trailer from loadrite, tandem, all stainless hardware, stainless disk brakes, guide poles, bunk but no center bunks....

$3k. Seems more like it.

$3300 for a Loadmaster tandem, all stainless, rear and front bunks. If you are paying more, you are wasting $$$.
